Naomi Davis, MA, LPMT, MT-BC
Owner, Music Therapist
Naomi is a board-certified music therapist and founder of Room to Grow LLC. She is licensed to provide services in the state of Illinois. After graduating with her Bachelor’s in Music Therapy from Colorado State University in 2020. Naomi has since gone on to accumulate a wealth of experience providing music therapy services in school-based, Telehealth, and private clinic settings. In 2024, Naomi completed her Master’s in Music Therapy at the University of Iowa. Naomi continues to provide community mental health services, as well as school-based and Telehealth music therapy services, as she pursues her doctorate in music therapy and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Iowa. Naomi is passionate about fostering collaborative, relationship-based spaces with therapy participants that create an environment for growth and meaning-making. Naomi strives to cultivate a playful, improvisatory environment where individuals can feel empowered to authentically and creatively achieve their goals. Naomi is also proud to support the development of future music therapists in her roles as an adjunct graduate faculty member at Shenandoah University, an Instructor of Music Therapy at Western Illinois University, and a clinical supervisor at the University of Iowa.

Naomi is passionate about fostering collaborative, relationship-based spaces with therapy participants that create an environment for growth and meaning-making. Naomi strives to cultivate a playful, improvisatory environment where individuals can feel empowered to interact authentically and creatively.
Naomi finds her work to be grounded in and informed by philosophies of Community Music Therapy, crip theories, Critical Disability Theories, and the intersections of many other anti-oppressive frameworks in music therapy.
